Payroll Clerk

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Head Office Team based in Coventry. This is a current Role within the Beststaff Ltd. Accuracy & attention to detail will be key to succeeding in this role as the data you process will have a financial impact on the business. Salary is £20 – 24K per annum depending on experience (paid weekly) + Yearly Bonus (year-end), 28 days holiday per annum, 40 hours per week.

The Role involves the following duties, but is not exhaustive:
• Processing Timesheets & Invoices weekly using Microsoft Excel & Sage One
• Processing Payroll on weekly basis to tight deadline
• Liaising directly with the Accounts department
• Updating various Excel Spreadsheets daily
• Updating the Company Database and uploading Files daily
• Supporting the Recruitment Team daily
• Liaising with Technicians on a daily basis
• Reporting to the Company Director and Account Manager on a daily basis
• Ensuring GDPR, Corporate Compliance & UK Legislation documentation is adhered to at all times
• Answering telephone calls in English & Polish

Essential Requirements:
• Experience using Sage and Sage Payroll will be advantageous
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Self-motivated
• High attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a fast-changing environment
• Speaks/ Writes fluent English and Polish
• Other language proficiency would be advantageous but not essential
