The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) is the professional body for UK recruitment businesses. Established since 1930, representing 82% of the recruitment marketplace by value, the REC work tirelessly to support members in helping businesses find the people they need, while improving the standards and reputation of recruitment industry. The REC is a not-for-profit organisation governed by an elected council of recruitment industry representatives.

REC members are UK-based recruitment agencies, spanning from large organisations right down to sole traders. The REC represents the interests of its members and the UK jobs market to government through its policy work.

REC accreditation enabled BestStaff to streamline our processes, be at the centre of the recruitment world, to be up to date and compliant with the current legislation in the UK. BestStaff has also gone through the REC’s accreditation process and is now obliged to adhere to REC’s Code of Conduct.
