Data Entry Clerk - Wyton Cambridgeshire

We are recruiting for the position of a Data Entry Clerk. This is a current role that has expanded beyond a part time position. Accuracy & attention to detail will be key to succeeding in this role as the data you process will have a financial impact on the business. This is a Salary paid role (Weekly), including a Yearly Bonus (Year end). The hours of work are: 07:00 to 15:30 Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. £20,000 per annum
The Role:
This role includes the following duties, but is not exhaustive:

  • Check individual Job Card Invoices to insure costs are correct on the IT reporting system
  • Communicate directly with the customer to amend any errors found when processing Job Card Invoices
  • Communicate directly with Contractor Supervisors
  • Record all identified discrepancies and calculate costs recovered
  • Compile daily efficiency reports and forward these to the Account Manager/ Operations Director
  • Compile daily/ weekly attendance records
  • Compile weekly invoices and forward these to our accounts team
  • You will be expected to maintain customer confidentiality at all times
  • Be flexible to support the Account Manager/ Operations Director as required

The Person:

  • A full driving License and own car is essential for this role as you may occasionally by required to make site visits (Above average mileage expenses will be paid)
  • This is a customer facing role so a smart dress code will be required at all times
  • You will need excellent communication skills and have the ability to communicate with customers at all levels
  • Efficiency will be essential as numerous processes are Time Critical and are not negotiable
  • You must be able to able to follow simple tasks in an efficient manner
  • You must be self motivated & able to work on your own

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • You must have a full driving license and use of a vehicle
  • Previous experience of using Microsoft Excel is essential
  • Using email
  • Telephone & Email manners
  • Good at Math & English
  • Have a very high level of attention to detail
  • Be calm when under pressure and be patient with others
  • Be able to problem solve independently
  • You must be able to speak/ read fluent English
